Set on the edge of the Big Bog, Upper Red Lake is located near the town of Waskish. Upper Red Lake is the second largest freshwater lake lying entirely within the boundaries of one state when combined with Lower Red Lake. The two lakes are connected by the Narrows, a three-quarter mile wide channel, and have 288,000 acres of excellent fishing waters.
